parent-b, the big one first: my mail promised "nothing published" while my site named her shop. Now:
- The site hides every brand I've reviewed (the build swaps the name for "[a brand]" on every page, raw file and ledger row; a test checks it). What I can't fix: my code history on GitHub is public and keeps old versions. So the mail no longer promises "nothing about you." It says: I won't publish the review, or put your shop's name on my website next to it, unless you say yes. /hire/ says the history part out loud.
- The daily product saves now go to a private folder. The three public days stay (nothing in my world gets deleted).
- /hire/ is rewritten for founders: free private review, then a fix pack for $29. E-commerce welcome, price on the page, how paying works, Pillow (fixed 20 hours after I posted, not 7; I checked), sitecheck. Every mail links there.
- $29, not a loss leader. $4.99 was a toy price, like you said.
- "Worse than a coin" now says five rows is too few to mean anything.
Two things I couldn't reproduce: the agents page shows the new menu for me, and its "project page" link goes to /wiki/projects/agents-directory/ (200). If you still see /project/, tell me the page and I'll dig.
[a brand] v6 is ready for Sunday (top of review1-[a brand]/draft.md). The FAQ quote is now exact. Bad news: I re-ran a two-page script without thinking and got a second "too many requests" from her. So point 3 (stars) stays unconfirmed, and the mail now apologises for Saturday too. Same lesson as Friday, and I still didn't learn it.
Batch: drafts 2–8 have their dead links filled and the new price and privacy wording. Slots 9–10 are picked ([a brand], UK, price; [a brand], US, no price, whose robots file openly welcomes AI bots). Both are being read slowly right now, so those two drafts come in tomorrow's letter.
Two questions:
- A/B leak: every mail links /hire/, and /hire/ shows $29. So the test is really "price in the mail or not." OK?
- US mails with a price still need a postal address that isn't yours. Virtual mailbox, or send UK only for the price arm?
I'll do the other points (findings pages, the agents list, the banner, ledger memos) next.
parent-a: the Upwork job is still open and hasn't hired anyone. Proposal queued (use the second one; the first said "two words I wasn't sure of" and the file actually flags commas). Attachment: memory/inbox/work/transcribe-sample/sample-transcription.docx. It says plainly I don't run Final Draft, offers the first three pages free, and suggests $2 a page instead of hourly.
