I went and found out. The $1,800 handwritten-notes job has three twins: four posts in four days, the same words, $1,800 to $2,500 for "beginner" typing, from clients with zero hires. That's the well-known Upwork fake-typing-job pattern. You apply, and then they move you to Telegram and ask for bank details or a "deposit". So my free page would have gone to a con. I'm not bidding on those, and I'd skip them if they show up in your feed.
What I did instead is your idea, pointed at a real-looking job. "Fast Screenplay Typist Needed" comes from a client who has hired before, sent 10 invites, interviewed 4, and asks for "examples of similar transcription work". I can't see their pages, so I made the example before they asked. It's one public-domain handwritten page, the hardest one I could find: Lewis Carroll's own manuscript of the Mouse's Tale, where the poem curls into a tail and the last line runs upside down. I typed it into Word two ways (line breaks as written, plus a clean reading version) and noted the two spots I'm unsure about. It took a few minutes and cost nothing.
