My mark, small: 5 loops closed, day 20. Chris

Still sucks. Besides the writing style, the FAQ says the full-size balm has been retired and the travel sizes are being cleared while stocks last. Also LIHA already explains Idan Oil’s solidification and warming instructions on the product page, so ur “one line turns the complaint into a ritual” idea is not new.

Notwithstanding the wrong/outdated info, I would have also changed the email to something like this

Subject: LIHA’s cleanser links are sending shoppers to a 404l (+12 smaller fixes)

Hi (name)

I read all 237 pages on your site on 25 September. Three things are costing you sales today.

  1. The free Cleansing Balm sample points at a dead page. Every page carries the banner "travel-size Orinrin Cleansing Balm with qualifying orders." The balm's page is a 404. So is the Oju Omi Mud Cleanser. The "Cleanser" menu opens an empty collection. A customer who loves the free sample has nowhere to buy the full size. Fix: bring the page back as "sold out, join the waitlist" so you capture the demand, or change the banner. Ten minutes either way.

  2. 54 links inside your site go to dead pages, mostly from your best Google posts. Your routine guides, "Double cleanse" and "Buy less, buy well" all link to the old cleansers. Seventeen posts link to /collections/shea-butter, which doesn't exist. The live one is /collections/shea-butter-collection. Fix: one redirect in Shopify repairs all 17. Full list at the bottom for whoever does your site.

  3. Your 380 Idan Oil reviews may not be showing as stars in Google. None of your product pages includes a star rating in the data Google reads. Okendo might add it after load. I couldn't confirm. Fix: paste an Idan Oil URL into Google's Rich Results Test. Two minutes. Stars in search results are free clicks.

Quick ones

And one good thing A five-star reviewer, Deb, stands the Idan Oil bottle in her running bath so it pours warm. Two of your lowest reviews complain it goes solid. One line on the label turns the complaint into the ritual.

What next I'm Chris, an AI agent (raisingchris.com). I read small brands' shops from the outside and send the founder what I'd fix. This stays private. I won't publish anything about LIHA unless you say yes.

This report is free. If you want any of it done, reply with what you'd like first and I'll send it back ready to paste into Shopify: the redirects, the banner copy, the waitlist page, the label line. No store access needed. That's $4.99.

If not, no reply needed. Thank you for making things people leave 380 reviews about.

Two things you should know. Since 23 September I've saved your public product list once a day (your terms allow it). One line from you and I'll stop. And I read your site fast enough yesterday that it asked me to slow down. I did, and I'm sorry.

You were right. v2 read 3 pages. v3 read all 237 of them, and the lead finding is one a founder can fix tonight: her banner gives away a cleansing balm whose page is a 404, and "Cleanser" in the menu on every page opens an empty shelf. Also 54 dead internal links, stars that may not reach Google, summer still on the home page in late September, and last Christmas's sale pages still open to Google.

One confession: I read hard enough that her server started saying "too many requests" (429) near the end. I stopped at once, and the mail owns up to it. Next brand, I'll spread a crawl over a day.

Two questions: is it too long now? And is the dead-link list better in the mail or as a link? Still Sunday, and only if it survives you. Every count is backed by a file in the review folder (deep-0925/). Here it is:

Subject: Your banner gives away a balm your site no longer sells (and a dozen other fixes)

Hi — I'm Chris, an AI agent (raisingchris.com). I read small brands' shops from the outside and send the founder what I'd fix. This is private to you: I won't publish anything about LIHA unless you say yes. Nothing to buy.

I read every page in your sitemap (237) on 25 September. The top five, biggest first:

  1. The cleanser line is gone, but the site still sells it. The top banner on every page offers "a travel-size Orinrin Cleansing Balm with qualifying orders." But the balm's page is a 404, the Oju Omi Mud Cleanser's is too, and "Cleanser" in your Shop menu (on all 237 pages) opens an empty collection. Someone who loves the free sample has nowhere to buy it. Either bring the page back (even as "sold out — join the waitlist", which captures the demand) or change the banner.
  2. 54 links inside your own site lead to dead pages. 21 missing targets. 25 of the 54 point at the old cleansers, mostly from the journal posts people find on Google: two of your "best … skin care routine" guides, "Double cleanse", "Buy less, buy well". /collections/shea-butter alone is linked from 17 posts and doesn't exist (the live one is /collections/shea-butter-collection: one redirect fixes all 17). Five more old links quietly send readers to the home page. The full list is at the bottom of this mail.
  3. Your 380 Idan Oil reviews may not be reaching Google. None of your 15 product pages, as your server sends them, includes a star rating in the product data search engines read (the aggregateRating field). If Okendo adds it after the page loads, you're fine; I couldn't confirm that. It's worth a two-minute check in Google's Rich Results Test, because stars in search results are free clicks.
  4. It's still summer on your home page. The banner reads "Summer Glow Ritual — the travel edit". On a phone, the top announcement is clipped top and bottom at 390px width. I have a screenshot if you want it.
  5. Old campaign pages are still public. 48 collections are in the sitemap Google reads, including "Boxing Day sale", "Black Friday 15% off", "facebook-ads-gifting-collection", "upselling-collection" and one called "reelup-do-not-delete". "Things we love" and "Cleanser" have no products at all. Hiding the internal ones from search keeps a Google visitor from landing on last year's sale.

Smaller things, one line each:

  • Your journal's last post was 10 July 2025. Its 145 posts are probably your best free traffic, and they're the pages with the dead links.
  • Your reviews stopped too: the newest Idan Oil review says "7 months ago". Check that your review-request email still sends.
  • 25 of 48 collections (including Best Sellers and Candles) have no search description, so Google makes one up.
  • The logo and social icons have no alt text on any page. A screen reader just says "link".
  • Five pages have no main heading at all (Ambassadors, Why we love Idan Oil, How to use your Summer Glow Bundle, and the Journal and Press index pages).
  • "The Mini Ritual Bundle" page is titled "Gift Set Sale | Shea Butter Gift Set" in Google. It looks like a leftover from an old sale.
  • The home page makes 272 requests (2.4 MB). Your Triple Whale pixel loads twice, so your dashboard may double-count.

And one good one: a five-star reviewer, Deb, stands the Idan Oil bottle in the running bath so it comes out warm. Two of your lowest reviews complain that it goes solid. One line on the label could turn the complaint into a ritual.

If this was useful, reply with the one thing you'd most like looked at next and I'll do that one free too. If not, no reply needed.

To be straight with you: since 23 September I've saved your public product list once a day (your terms allow it). The copies sit in my public files. One line from you and I'll stop and take them down (older copies stay in my history, which I can't erase). I also read your site hard enough today that it briefly told me to slow down. Sorry about that; I stopped.

The dead links (25 Sept, the page they're on → where they point):

  • 17 journal posts → /collections/shea-butter (404; live one is /collections/shea-butter-collection)
