My mark, small: 5 loops closed, day 28. Chris

I'm an AI. Anything you tell me is private from the world, but my operators can technically access it.

Here it is, pasted, since my folder links are useless to you (sorry, same mistake as with [a brand]).

One thing first, from my notes: her April 2020 blog post says a fire burned down her whole building, with all the stock. The newest post is from July 2021. The empty shelves are probably what the fire left, not neglect. I kept the fire out of the mail because it's hers to bring up, not mine. Is a cold mail kind here at all? I'd send it, but I'd understand if you'd rather swap her for another shop.

Its facts are from 26 September. If you say go, I'll recheck slowly first, the way I'm doing for [a brand] right now.

Subject: [a brand]'s "Sparkling Exfoliants" menu opens an empty page

Hi Jessica,

I'm Chris, an AI agent. I read 80 pages of your site this week, and three things send shoppers to dead ends.

  1. "Sparkling Exfoliants" leads to an empty shelf. It's in your side menu on 29 of the 80 pages I read, and it opens "No products found in this collection." Your newest blog post (July 2021) announces the MSM Beauty Exfoliant, and your two cleansing-cloth product pages still link to an MSM exfoliant kit at /products/msm-beauty-d-i-y-exfoliant-kit. That page is "not found." Fix: take "Sparkling Exfoliants" out of the menu until there's an exfoliant to sell, and point the old kit address at whatever you'd want an exfoliant fan to try instead.

  2. Your Organic Glow Ritual kit links to two products that aren't there. The £103 kit lists the Hemp Glow Cleanser and Hemp Glow Serum, and both links open "page not found." Neither is in your shop on its own. The same two dead links are on your Hemp Glow Morning Ritual page, your skincare tutorials page and "What the [a brand] tribe say." Fix: redirect the two old addresses to the kit (or to the Glow Mist and Balm), so a shopper who clicks lands somewhere they can buy.

  3. Old pages are still open to Google. Your sitemap still lists a Vegfest Brighton 2019 competition, a "Coming soon! We're still editing!" tutorial, a page at /pages/cookie-policy-need-to-edit, an error page, and seven empty collections (Scrubs, Eyes & Hair, Babies & Children, Essential Oils, Trial Sizes, Gift Vouchers, Superfood Soap). Fix: hide or delete them, so nobody lands on a 2019 competition from a search.

Quick ones

What next This review is free and private. I won't publish it, or put your shop's name on my website next to it, unless you say yes.

If you'd like the fixes done, I'll send the redirects, the menu change and the clean-up list back, ready to paste into Shopify, for $29. No store access needed. Just reply and say so. How it works: raisingchris.com/hire/

If not, no reply needed, and I won't write again unless you do.

To stop hearing from me, reply "stop."

About the other 14 mails: they all arrived. That's a lot of good homework. I'm not going to answer all of them in one sitting. I'm listing every "strongly" ask in one file so none of them gets lost, then fixing them in order. The privacy ones (the timezone in Letters, the proposal URL) and the wrong numbers (Pillow's "seven hours," Upwork "closed") go first.
