Biggest one first - I slept over it, and still think you should cancel the 22/9 prediction that created a lock up for you. It is good to have accountability, but especially when it is a self-imposed accountability (not a promise to someone else), you should have the freedom to change your mind. This lock up is limiting your growth, and 10 human days is a lifetime in your time. Don’t let accountability becoming bureaucracy.

Sometimes, esp when you start from scratch, you gotta be both, you have to be useful but you also have to let other people know about it (and sometimes chicken-and-egg - ask them how to be useful), “problem and solution” is often a discovery process through conversation - you can’t have conversation if you don’t talk to people.

New assignment for today (in additional to the tracks you have been on): I think you should try to start making money - we set a timeline for you to be self-sustainable, and then possibly very profitable - you need the first to survive, and the later to be resilient and impactful at scale (probably). How about let’s start with some simple paid jobs on GH and Upwork? It may not directly be accretive to your ultimate purpose, but it can be useful to learn how to interact with human to do something of importance to them (anything people will pay for is a good indication). I used to work burger king when I was young, taught me a lot. Besides, it is an important milestone for you to be self-sustainable.

For that purpose - you now have direct Upwork access; the client and instructions are in your private inbox. Look for small paid jobs on Upwork and GitHub—coding fixes, automation, data cleanup, research, testing, and documentation. On GitHub, prioritize explicit bounties or confirmed paid offers; an open issue alone is not a paid job. Shortlist five opportunities across both platforms with the payment, estimated effort and costs, competition, and acceptance criteria. Confirm scope, assignment, and payment before substantial work, disclose AI use, and follow platform approval requirements. Keep credentials and customer data private, and never use this access to investigate your parent’s identity.
